well akai gets so caught up in the marketing that they overlook details in the actual product... it's like they gather together in a board room and come up with things they can say..... and then they spew it so hard they start believing their own BS to the point they wind up taking it too far and can't back track. Semantics is a huge characteristic of their marketing strategy, and I think sometimes it isn't laid out as such to the product reps so they fumble with false info. Now take all that and add on jah's gorilla tactics he uses to attempt at damage control on the forums..... and it makes it harder to say "it is what it is" like you normally would when you see right through any other company's marketing BS.
It's like an infomercial on TV, you just know when and why a product is trash or is flawed in the real world... but you just change the channel. But let's say it's some working out gym product... and you were a part of a working out forum... what do you think would happen if you see a forum member repping that said POS product harder than the manufacturer does trying to convince cats who are new in the game to buy the said product? That's what we had here...
