So you guys would rather use a 1/2.5k vs Ren![]()
Can somone enlighten me here .. I thought the power of a multicore plugin system that host instant gigs of samples and vst's + color on pads, 16qlinks for instant editing, graphical feedback on large computer screen and conviniance of editing notes with a mouse + workflow improvements like step sequencing and never having to stop the sequencer when working would surly be vastly superior to a old 2.5 k with 128mb of ram ...
I mean ..really can someone explain this

I think the MPC500 is the only MPC that can play the sequencer at anytime. During editing, sampling, chopping etc.

Ren can do this too! It's dope because you can trim or timestretch or whatever to a sample while the beat plays!

Thats real important to my work flow. I love stretching a sample to a sequence and you feel like it locked together nicely, thats an uncanny feeling![]()
All this price dropping got me tempted, but I have to see what Akai can muster up after NI drops MS2.0. I know something is coming. The price drop was a good move so they must be funding another project. What? I don't know, but I know 2014 is gonna be a good year for us beat crafters!
