sorry but to me after reading this post, it seems as if you may be the one with his RocaWear panties inna bunch... i totally know where you coming from with the comments about Jimmy Iovine, and what actually has a chance to come out on that label, but besides that, you have failed to make a point that Em hasnt touched on himself in one of his songs, while lyrically flipping it hard (which to me is the point of emceeing, lyrics)... Em up until this new album, has been the only emcee to "sell out" and keep releasing consistantly better ish, most artists/groups consistancy steadily drops once achieving a little success ( lol, i could copy & paste a couple examples from the bottom of your post, but i think my point is made!) ... also, on the topic of "straight bullsh1t", mentioning that ridiculous Benzino/Source propaganda just shows how jaded your views are to begin with... too bad the Source cant take it back to the "essence"... and yes racism does in fact go both ways, moreso in hiphop, than in the recording industry(everyone knows that shiz is rampant with racism) , which are two completely different things... and by the way, Em is eating off the recording industry, not a "black artform" Em does him, noone else! and like you said, those from the "essence" aint gonna give him the respect as an emcee that he deserves anyway, so why shouldnt he cater to this mtv kid crowd with a couple wack tracks, and get paid? i think the wackest shit Em ever did was sign 50, its funny though, a lot of those from the "essence" front on Em but they all up on that 50Cent "house bred negro, industry" ish... its double standards, triple even, if you ask me... those from the "essence" never really buy most of the records anyway, nothing compared to what young white teens buy, and we know that none of them could ever be associated with the "essence"

... where were you in '92-'93 when EVERYBODY AND THEY MOMS was bumping the chronic? its not a new phenomenon... what demographic bought the most Pac albums? Biggie albums? Jay albums? hmmmmm..... its nothing new, yet these artists are all accepted and respected by both the "essence" and the industry, and Ems not???? whats the difference? is it skin color? hmmm.... is it the amount of units that Em has sold compared to others that are respected more by the "essence"? if thats the case sounds like HATE to me... the bottom line is, NO YOU AINT GOTTA FEEL EMINEM, but if you into some lyrical skills AT ALL, you gotta RESPECT him as an emcee...
PS... i dont think many of us "real hiphop heads" give an ish about any "novelties" whatsoever... **** a "novelty" of skin color! skills is skills...
check your eyes and ears,
and, recognize your fears...

People always say sh1t like he's different from everything out but he's the only one who gets a pass and doesnt have to make a club joint to get heavy rotation. There's mounds of mc's out there that have lyrics but most of them cant buy a deal. If you're a ni99a you gotta be on some carbon copy punchline sh1t, club banger sh1t, or some joint for the ladies sh1t. But then they wanna praise Em for his varied subject matter like all ni99as can rap about is money, clothes, hoes etc. Tell Jimmy Iovine to sign somebody and not force they hand to make that radio single and let them "do them". Even Dre tried to make the God Rakim "bring the guns out". Neverless none would sell as much as Em but we would get to see mc's who have more to rhyme about then what gets played on the radio. Plus most of Em's fans aren't even hiphop fans, he get's no play in the hood unless he featured on a joint w/ someone else. NOBODY I know owns an Eminem album.
I mightve went overboard as far as him being trash but everything else I wrote is valid. And I find it appalling for you to use that racism line in terms of Em. Thats some straight bullsh1t. Who benefits more from race in hiphop then Eminem?!!(read the above again) You cant be serious!! It's funny to me how you white boys get your panties in a bunch over Eminem. Like he's above being criticized or everybody GOTTA feel him. He's had some decent verses...renegade and dead wrong come to mind but other than that most ni99as that come from the essence(the streets) of which this hiphop thing started do NOT feel him like that..Read the Ghostface article in the Vibe he's one of these ni99as as well and one of the few who have the balls to say it. Most hated in the game? He's lucky these house bred negroes in the industry still allow him to eat off a black art form after those tapes were released I dont give a fuk how long ago they were( and I dont believe he was 16) he was still using a black artform to spewl racist comments ABOUT blacks. So fuk Eminem, you and the burbs, TRL crowd can have him. I got NAS, Wu, Black Moon, Beans, Jay, and plenty other CD's to listen too.
