There's nothing complex about picking better sounds or resampling in the 4K.

ja-ki wrote:Hi,
I'm quite desperate in finding this out. The MPC is still very new to me and recently I started layering drums and other sounds. I didn't find out how to have different envelopes and filtersettings per zone. Is this even possible? I didn't find that in the manual and when I chance a parameter it always changes it for the whole pad/key...
cheers!

4k newb here, I'm a bit disappointed that individual zones in a drum program can't have their own envelopes etc. There's a work around that I've just found, it's probably been talked about before so forgive me if I'm preaching to the converted.
Just use keygroups, each keygroup can have it's own envelopes filter etc. Limit the keygroup range to a single pad and stack your keygroups in the KG mix page as if they were zones. Does this make sense or am I missing something here? It seems to work for me, don't know why they didn't implement the same thing for drum programs..
