I agree with Eyalc. The software keeps getting better and better. I think this is a great idea, though not a new one. I hope it is implemented correctly.
Apparently we have allot of drama queens on this forum....This new box in no way forces you to sell or upgrade your REN/Studio. They run the same F#K#N software. If you don't need a standalone system and you are always at the computer just keep what you have. Its the same thing. If you just want the shiny new toy, you take ya medicine and cough up the doe.
This is potentially unprecedented greatness and people are complaining...I have a Studio and I can do everything the person with the REN/RENXL can do. Could an MPC 2000 owner say that to an MPC4000 owner a decade ago?

...my Initial reaction to the possibility of touch screen was "F*K touch screen"...BUT if that can be a cartesian plane (x/y) live effects/parameter automation interface....I think I'll be captain of the touch screen boat. GO AHEAD AND MAKE THAT HAPPEN...
