Hi All,
I know how to roll the hi-hat. I have a lot of hi-hat samples. I have played with the swing percent, but i am not getting a nice rapid quick sound. I am starting to think that it is just that I have not found a good sound.
However that seems to be ridiculous because I have so many samples. SO maybe I am just not rolling the pressure sensitively enough, or not using the right percentage/note value. I get close with 32 note, but sometimes it sounds too fast.
Maybe I shouldn't be using the hihat?
Of course now that I have typed it out I am thinking I should just e patient and go through every 32 note percentage on by one to see which sounds best.
Anyone want to share their method. Feel free to PM me if you don't want to expose yourself.
Peace
Ian
