It does not ask to re-open the project...when you open the project again is when it gives you the chance to merge/replace the autosaved one.
Don't you have any [AutoSave] tagged folder inside your project folder? Do you have autosave active?

Why do you need the dvd drive? Can't you install from the iso files?and the windows from an usb drive?

MPCHolland053 wrote:well with me this auto-save feature is non-existent, i lost a few beats even recently...not really dope ones but still...
it never asks me to re-open project, there isn't a autosave file, and when i check recently opened files, it only shows the one i opened prior to the one that crashed...
but i save everything after every alteration so no a big deal for me....but i better get that dvd drive fixed fast then, and reinstall the whole shabam

same here

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the look of Maschine, the only place it's flying to is to everyone's studio.

They need to step up their design game up, that looks like a control panel for flying to mars

on top of that it reminds me all the dudes here, who were complaining about the quickly fallen price of the REN. But, wait: When was Maschine Studio released? Not that long ago.
Companies act all the same. you will recognize it when you're honest to yourself. get used to it^^

It's just an anniversary thing: 10 years of Maschine, hence the supposedly temporary price drop.

Don't know what the big fuss is about. MPC REN and Maschine are two different beast. The MPC REN can make music just as good as the Maschine right now. The only advantage the Maschine has is it the sound sets included with the system. With the MPC you're pretty much on your own to fabricate the best sounds possible. If you ask me "Fabricating Your Own Sounds" and "Tweaking" them to oblivion is what puts the MPC REN on top of the Maschine everyday and all day. It separates the new possibilities with sounds from the clone sounds. MPC REN is for the tweakheads. Maschine is for the button mashers.

Don't get me wrong because I like the Maschine concept and I'm not jealous about not having one... I could of brought 5 Maschine Studios, but I decided to keep my REN and buy a Korg Kronos X61. I have faith on the MPC cause its ready now, but some more features will be appreciated. ;)

How is the Ren more for "tweakheads"? Just so you know, I'm not being a dick, I am legitimately curious. Have to clarify because it's text on the internet.
