ok so after a quick fling with the 500 i had the chance at a cheap 1000 and took it, it came with jjos2 but i have since installed jjosfree as a place to start but i wondered if anyone can advise if i go on to update to jjos2xl whether the process would recognize that jj0s2 was at some point installed?
is the registration machine specific?
sorry for the boring q

Your JJOS2 password is stored permanently in your machine, nothing can remove it (unless you replace the main board!), so you can feel free to install any other JJ versions in any order you want, and can revert back to OS2 at any time.

Any problems (incredibly unlikely), contact JJ, he'll have a record of your unit's unique hardware code so can verify the original OS2 purchase.
