I don't know if this was posted yet but it's an interview with Pete and Dan from zZsounds... http://blog.zzounds.com/2015/10/07/interview-inside-the-akai-mpc-touch/
. AKAI should stop trying to compete with NI on a software level and listen to the feedback from their customers. I've given up on AKAI, the MPC Renaissance doesn't even work with my brand new Macbook (and I'm not the only one)
. I hope Roland release a standalone follow up to the SP-555/404SX that can load sounds directly via usb and sequence within any DAW as a plugin via MIDI.

Because I'm definitely going to hold off. Mainly because I'm not interested in learning a new workflow. What's the point of using an MPC if it involves a new workflow?
I think the Touch looks cool and i definitely feel the pull of wanting a new slick black unit with nice pads and a shiny screen, but in reality I have no use for it. Current Ren owners-what do u think?

I love my Ren and honestly, I was even thinking about getting a second one in case mine stops working some day. For now, I prefer to wait and see what and if Akai has something else up their sleeve.

Got the Touch instead...

Have you got it on pre order?
