hello guys

I took the time to hand mount the prototype this evening.
here are some pictures.
the raw inverter PCB panel from the manufacturer:

a close view of one unit

withe the components to be mounted (only 16 parts are needed including the connectors)

the pcb assembled

and a close view

side by side with the original one used in the MPC4000 for the CFL tube (the one I've removed of my MPC)
I've used the same connectors and hole positions as the original one so it's a "drop in" replacement.

the raw led strip panel

and a close view of one unit with the leds

a close view of the assembled led strip

the complete assembly with the wires and connector (15cm for the red wire and 20cm for the black one)

powered up

close view of the two assembled boards

setting and measuring the led current (voltage drop through R7)

250mV

0.250/12 = 20.8mA -> great

measuring the voltage at the trimmer wiper for the right 20mA led current

measured at 2.40V

current consumption at the power supply measured at 126mA

Horseclick, I will send this prototype to you tomorrow I think.
