MPC X
What are the system specs of the MPC X?
The MPC X has its own embedded system which sports a 1.8GHz quad core processor and 2GB of RAM.
For internal storage, the MPC X has 16GB on board. There are 10GB of studio quality sounds pre-loaded and another 6GB for you to work with. You can use the 2 onboard USB ports to add more samples or to provide extra storage. There is also a compartment on the bottom of the MPC X which houses a SATA port for installing an optional HDD or SDD.
I am really feeling this MPCX I love that you can have additional hard drives, one internal then you can connect two more usb I freakin love that. I will get an SSD for the internal, one question though is it going to be a 2.5 SSD or 3.5 SSD hard drive size for the X? Seems like it would be more of a 2.5 SSD.
I have a swapple dock already and some hard drives ready. 2 TB only cost me $49 bucks which is great.
The specs of this machine is way more than I need or expected but I tell ya, I ain't mad at Akai LOL I am loving this.
Seen the video on how to export your loops out of MPCX and send them to your computer, That is the most exciting thing for me. Its going to be fun as I work and this is what I been waiting for. I can do complex drums without having to fix any midi notes and work fast, that is the other thing I love. That sequencer. Nothing is like it, and I can do it in Stand alone mode.
When they put phantom power on it +48 I was not expecting that! Neither the stereo meter monitor on it, I was like Oh ssshhhhhhhhhh*** lol If Akai would of put a fader on it I would of peed in my pants in the middle of Times Square on a Yellow cab in New York City LOL hahahah ctfu lol
Wifi really shocked me, like ok, and they have a new LPD8 in wifi? I rock the LPD8 but it's not wifi. But I don't know if I will get into the wifi thingy just yet.
Now here's the blaster for me:

That's way more power than I need, but hey, I ain't going to complain about it LOL That's a beautiful thing. Quad core proc. that's dope.
I'm really impressed by what Akai did.
What's dope about the track amount on the 2.0 is it went from 128 tracks to unlimited as much as your computer can handle that's tight.
