How hard is it to turn a sample into a clip and n the live? Since it won't warp samples from program mode...

Is it possible to have the clip launch instantly? Or the is there a 1 bar minimum?

It's not hard really, just limiting compared to drum/keygroup program edit. You can do the following.
- Assign any sample to a clip pad.
- Edit the start and end points (not as easily as normal sample edit).
- Enable/disable warp.
- Edit BPM (this affects the base timing and can be used to alter the actual tempo even if it's not the true BPM of the sample).
- Pad playback (Toggle or One Shot).
- Set the pad quantize.
- Reverse the sample.
- Set coarse and fine tuning.
- Set the mute group.
- Toggle fade in.
So no layering, envelopes, filters, etc. I'm not sure if I would really use this as a workaround. The clip grid is a little weird too. It records long notes that can overlap other events that make grid editing somewhat difficult.

What's missing is the ability to record and load LOOPING CLIPS (from Looper into Clips Program?), as smoothly as we can presently go from SAMPLER into a DRUM program, yes?)
- See: I need to know that these extra steps I have to currently preform will become unnecessary soon, as work flow is "clarified". Otherwise, I think I'm in the wrong relationship. (And I DEF and DO wanna use all the other sweet features here, jus sayin: I need this Clip/Program mode to work BETTER.
