lol lm not going to threaten you lol
Yeah a drummer doesn't. When you're in the studio doing drums for a client they don't wanna hear that. Rock drummers and of that genre don't play like drum programmers. Im getting into swinging mote which 2.0.3 SW handles well.
My point was my drums were not hitting on the grid lines. To solve that problem l got the Live which l proved and learned how to use Reasons step sequencer which proved my situation on not going to buy an interface. Ifs what l daid didn't l would still be having that problem and lm not.
No one can say l complain about that anymore and lm happy!

I watched this argument go down on gearslutz. Damn shame. You pretty much hit the nail on the head though. And is also something I do not understand one bit. As Danoc is 100% in the box and boasts on his Vst usage and I assume that's all he uses because of his past comments about it and being 100% in the box,. He certainly would not only benefit from the actual issues you pointed out but also from the D/A conversion when playing back the mix. Also in recording anyone if the opportunity arises with née conversion.. Unfortunately he seems to get defensive about it. Like hey Danoc it's all good man. Just trying to help you out but already see this going the way of gearslutz.. You keep talking about tape. Your talking to someone who actually has and still uses an Otari Mx 7800 1" 8 track to record. I know all about it. Also , try taking them drums off the grid . Just a lil bit. No one wants to see a beat go down with training wheels. ... that was just a joke, hopefully you don't threaten me on-the-line. But seriously, no drummer plays quantized. Trust in your human groove people.
