So portamento is icing on the cake?! so it automation editing? really???
Along with a handful of everyday features. If you have a lot of hardware gear and need a brain i could see the X being dope but as far as a computer stand point.... nah....
I can drop 400$ on a computer/labtop that can do what the MPC X and Live do along with more features.
I love MPC's But DO NOT TRUST AKAI WITH SOFTWARE.
Makes me worried about the Rane 72 Mixer. Shit looks good but an x/y effect touch screen ripped from the MPC on it etc etc has me little worried. They say the same Rane engineers will be on it but still. Im not super stoked on inmusic. Ill stick with my DJM S9 and my Maschine.
If they actually update the MPC's, make them worth there money and start showing more effort into constant updates then i would purchase on in the future. Just really for what it is... I could get a lot more done with other stuff and less work arounds.
