Now don't get me wrong - I love the MPC experience, and I didn't buy it for what it could have been (though just because I buy a car, doesn't mean I don't want it to be better if the potential is there). But the MPC development is frustrating to watch, especially when someone like JJ is churning out OS updates for LONG-retired MPC models, and adding functionality that helps with the actual manipulation and composition of samples, sequences, programs and songs.

Not saying an i5 or i7 but a decent intel chip with dope mother board, 4GB ram [optional to 256GB]. Optional, to blow it to a maxium, minimum to maximum. I think that would make people happy. If things are made optional then people have a right to upgrade their MPCs, and plus Akai could make some money.

Yeah, the force seemed like a good idea to me... but it appears to have been poorly executed. Time stretch is a *critical* feature in clip launching, and they couldn't get it right.
This is why if I'm going to work with a loop pack on the MPC I chop it rather than try and warp, pattern, or whatever. It's worth the time investment and you get a much better and more controlled result.
