Yes, I agree with a lot of what you have to say about the live/x & akai as a brand.
I bought live with wide eyes thinking it would evolve into what I wanted: a standalone mini daw... which it *kind of* is. I'm keeping it for a while, at least, but the cons are starting to outweigh the pros.
-its buggy at 2.8... How is this thing gonna handle 'arranger mode'?
-if I'm gonna need a daw to help/finish projects, why not just start them there... in a good daw! Coulda just bought a Touch! (Anyone smell a Touch>liveii thread brewing? I kid, I kid)!
Live/ii/X/one are still very dope machines, again I cant think of another standalone with this many features/abilities... But I'm realizing that may be the problem.
