Cursors configuration.
I recently replaced all my tact switches.
But kind of made a mess of the 4 cursor key part .
Anybody got a photo of that part of the ciruite board?
I'v bought a magnifying glass as I think I went in a bit brutish last time and burnt out the contact trace.
Bit of a long shot but, anyone have a picture of how that part of the circuite should go?
Apriecate any advice.
Peaaace : ))))))))

Service Manual of the 2000 doesn't have a drawing of the circuits.
Last time I opened (and then closed) my 2000 I forgot to install the cable fom the 8out board. I will install it tomorrow and make a photo of the circuit board.

peace

Thank you for sharing this. I also see you've been researching the LCD at some point, how did that work out for you?

I started my research recently but I don't know if its worth to proceed. The data aqcuired with my logic analyser must make sense, otherwise I stop.

Im not sure if the (P)Seiko/Epson collaboration is equivalent to the KS-110, the KS-110 chipset is like a ghost.
I hope what I found is what is being used in the MPC.

Considering it is serial data at that point, it would be pertinent to look into the same / similar serial conversion used in all 3 previous "new age" solutions.

The only on record display I've found for the Seiko displays was 248x60 instead of 256x64 which is what the actual MPC lcd is.

There are no mpc2000 classic schematics available, nowhere, even paid.

You will find the 2000xl ones in google.

What's the problem with your unit?
