Bezo, didn't know you had S1. It's good to be in the company of people who actually have it, and knows how it works. I dive in that sucka everyday. I know Reason in and out, but now diving deep into S1, so I can start using it more. Having the VCA and Bussing is so so so sweet! I can glue my tracks together for a better mix.
Yeah, there are a few features missing with Logic according to their chart. Logic is my alternative/backup DAW, so I'm Ok with this.
The combo seems to do near everything I'd need with S1. I imagine it would still fall short compared to the Faderport 16, but I like the form factor more. I'm in a writing/creative mode, so I have a bit more time to decide before any serious mixing needs to be done.[/quote]
