Akai just sent out the email a few days ago not to update. Looks like you might get lucky though.
Here, I thought the network MIDI app broke at Big Sur Beta 9. At least the GUI started showing up blank. The actual drivers still work, my Live can mount to the desktop, all the USB stuff still passes through (VirtualBox still sees my AMT8 plugged in to the MPC and I can edit in Sound Diver from there). So that's good.
New Logic update came out with Big Sur today, noticed the Akai Network MIDI and DAW ports ARE still installed even though the GUI is empty in the app itself. MPC of course still grabs an IP address over ethernet as it should. Decided to try it and it WORKS!. Logic started/stopped and synced the MPC the whole time. So apparently everything is good to go for the most part! I should've just tried it weeks ago when it first went blank cause it was working up until then, this might just be a graphics/Metal issue!
I have no desire to open the MPC Software ever again so you're on your own there, that's a nightmare even when it "works".
