AKAI sure knows how to entertain the hype with next model baiting. Every problems and bugs are already forgiven and forgotten

I'd love to see a modular approach with a solid beautiful metallic frame (60 could be a sexy base yea, but the X is already pretty nice tbh) that you buy once and lasts forever. And then buy replacement modules that you can update as years go by, RAM, Main board, pads, encoders, etc. But of couse it probably wouldn't be as lucrative as selling a whole new product every X years. Although I think it could be.![]()
Let's save the planet (that's my excuse) and stop using plastic....give us a metal case in that lovely grey/creamy off-white retro finish with rock solid buttons that feel like they will last decades and a real leather wrist rest.

Of course it’s just speculation but it tracks with what Akai does. Yes, I agree that dude is a POS but it makes sense what he’s saying.
Anyways, I overstated my “disappointment”. I really don’t care. I love my live and it’s the best mpc ever made. But I wouldn’t be mad if they came out with new hardware that’s even better not just new color schemes etc

Fix the effing bugs.

Akai has their own resources, but to find bugs everybody is needed, Akai can't do all that alone otherwise all old bugs would be fixed already.Nice one

But seriously though, they know very well some bugs have been there since many older updates. They're just unable to fix a good amount of them and are still creating new ones with every new updates. Even on older features that used to work fine.
If they need beta testers, then they should release beta versions. And make an older 'stable' version with little to no bug at all for people needing stability. That's how many other manufacturers do it. What is the stable, bugless version of AKAI os? They all have their issues, some worse than others but still.
Gonna be the negative guy again but whatever, it is what it is.
kday wrote:Akai release Beta versions, to the Beta teams that signed up to be Beta testers.Actually WE are the beta testers, AKAI's official testers must be at the pre alpha stage where pressing a button might set the device on fire at any given moment.
