I'm trying to do two things in one 16-pad Pad Perform setup. In the upper eight pads, I'd like to have eight organ notes. In the lower eight pads, I'd like to have eight piano notes. If it's possible to put two notes on one pad for the organ, that would be helpful.
I don't know how, using a Keygroup program, to do this. I set up a Drum program and I can set up the notes I want for both instruments, but they behave weirdly. Specifically:
1. The organ samples seem to only play as one-shots. They don't loop, so I can't hold down the pad and have them sound as long as I press the pad. I need them to sustain as long as I hold down the pad. I suspect this is because I had to use a Drum program, not a Keygroup program to get two voices on one pad setup.
2. The piano samples all sound as though I'm holding down a sustain pedal. I need them to sound and not sustain.
Any ideas how to fix these problems?
Thanks,
Carl
