So, on the internal drive there is a folder called "products" and inside of it a file product-id if i recall correctly. when online the mpc will attempt to fetch this file from the servers, i assume it tells the software that new plugins are available, however when this file changes in any way the plugins are deactivated. Theoretically, if one had a backup of the product-id file. They could restore the one that was working at the time their plugins work and the plugins will repopulate. There is no need for all of that i just mentioned it to illustrate what i believe the file does. If there is a firmware update or change on the server side for available products the unit should fetch the product-id, deactivate your plugins and then list the new ones when you log in again and ask for reactivation. That's how its designed to work.
