Sure people on forums like to complain, but I think all of this would be solved for me personally if Akai actually provided something like release notes on the beta. I don't think I've ever tested a beta without some sort of document saying what are known issues, what is not enabled yet, and sometimes if they're being transparent what will be deprecated? No one knows whether or not they just haven't implemented time signatures in the beta yet, or if it's deprecated, because they haven't said sh*t about it. People freaked out enough about mute tracks to where some beta tester influencer was able to get the ear of Akai and find out they are working on that.
So yeah, some people are habitual complainers, but when something that is valuable to people gets deprecated IMO it's very obviously going to happen, you can write it off, but I'm not sure why you would want to? I haven't commented a peep about anyone whose upset that Programs being independent of tracks, because there are use cases where it really messes with their work, because it doesn't affect me in no way makes it not valid.
Personally the fact that time signatures are possible in MPC2 was a reason to choose it over other options, so yeah it affects me that it could be gone. Freezes me in 2 effectively.
