HUBA wrote:When copy pasting events, for some reason they will be placed with the first note on the first downbeat, or at least in the OS versions I'm familiar with, meaning if what you copied did NOT have a note on the first beatdown then the whole sequence would be skewed. I seem to remember there being another way of solving this problem that I can't recall right now(anyone know what I mean?), but the way I used to do it was to record a note on the first beatdown before copy pasting for everything to be placed as intended and then delete that note afterwards. Hope that made sense.

But that has the same issue. I have to move the cursor to the exact position in the destination bar. Easy if the first event is fully quantized, very hard if not.
I'm used from Reaper (a DAW) that I can select a bar (or another range) and the insert point is taken from the start of the range, not the start of the first event.

Thanks. This seems to be the definitive way in MPC 2.x.
