I am really not liking Air Reverb of Mpc, you can try tweaking any parameter you want but it always sounds metallic and weak to my ears.
At the end I use a Neunaber Immerse connected to the outputs 3/4 in send, it sounds beautifully and works with line levels.
But then, more stuff to transport, cables, a small mixer for more outputs, it would be much more fun to have a good reverb inside MPC and just use MPC alone.
I know we are working with limited resources and good reverbs are very cpu hungry, but I also know that in the 80s they used to make pleasant reverbs with a fraction of the ram we use now and with very basic processors.
So do you guys think it's possible to make a good standalone reverb for MPC, and it's just Air that doesn't know how to do it or with these resources we have we cannot ask for more?
