So far my main drum programs [for my 808/909 sounds. etc] are all triggering near the end of the sample. The envelopes are not shifted, and the full sample is loaded, but I'm hearing only the second half of the sample tail. So Kicks, Claps, Rimshots are almost non-existent.

Of all of the Mac apps that worked in Catalina, Big Sur, or beyond, MPC Maid is the only one that launched and it won't open up old programs from my CF Card. RS-16X, MPCPad187 and 2000XL don't work in any OS made in the last 7-8 years.
Has anyone else been down this road yet, with any workarounds? I have dozens of sequences to convert/update and really don't want to lose all of the work I put into the MPC-1000 over the last 10 years.
Sorry to resurrect this thread once again!
I'm about to be in this very same boat! I've been using the MPC1000 for years now (JJOS2XL) & I'm finally having to get a new machine for various reasons, getting the MPC Live OG next week.
So - from what I can gather, PGM files are possible to transfer but a lot of data gets lost in translation, this I'm sure I can handle by bouncing all the audio samples from the 1K to maintain fx / filter / pitch / volume / master eq & comp settings & recreating sample kits on the Live - keeping the exact same sample to pad configuration. Hopefully this should work! (?)
I'm more concerned about transferring sequence files across & whether this will work & what issues may surface. All my joints are made of individual sequences arranged in song mode, & then converted back to a single sequence.
One possible workaround if this method fails - I'm thinking it maybe possible to export these completed songs as midi data instead of JJOS data??
For context - I use the MPC for two separate live projects & gig regularly (currently booked up almost every weekend up until April, so far!) so I have 4 separate folders full of data / samples etc to migrate across to the MPC Live, it's gonna be a lot! I'm well aware there's gonna be issues & I'll need to put some serious hours / days / weeks in to make the big move for sure, but if I can keep the actual song intact I'm hopeful it won't be too painful an experience!!
Thanks y'all & hoping - seeing as this is an old thread - that a few folk that may have done the same thing can share some experiences!
