“Doesnt anyone else notice this!? I feel like im taking crazy pills!!!!”
Whats going on?
Has anyone else here experienced the mpc ren/studio when mpc software first cohesively dropped?
When you chop samples on any mpc theres pops or clicks for a milisecond or two at the beginning of each chop in a sample. You can of course negate that like most of us had by adjusting the attack of EACH CHOP (beyond annoying to have to do this for years now) and the pop or click will be gone.
BUT
There was a dream that was once rome. I mean there was a time when these pops or clicks werent even a thing. I still have an mpc ren attached to an old imac running mpc software 1.4 roughly. No pops or clicks.
I see ALL these videos of mpc influencers etc showcasing the mpc sample and lone behold u can hear the pops at the beginning of the chops.
Does nobody else notice this? It drives me crazy
So here i am contemplating the mpc sample when now i have to think about how to get to program edit to adjust the attack of the sample to negate the glitch of the pop or click at the beginning of each chop.
Call me crazy all you want but maybe i hear things too well or am a perfectionist but this drives me absolutely crazy.
