I'm only salty because I don't like being resold features we used to have access to in older version of a machine, that we only now have access to in newer versions that we have to pay for, just to do things we used to be able to do in older versions. I'm a firm believer that if you make a good product, you don't have to make newer versions just to get new consumers. Akai has a history of leaving legacy machines in the dust, that are capable of doing stuff the newer machines can do just by changing a few lines of coding. But hey, if you like the idea of buying the latest greatest, shiny new thing, more power to you. Continue being a part of the reason why things will never change.. Do yourself a favor and watch the video though. I'm sure a lot of y'all will relate. At this point I'm so close to just sticking to Ableton, Logic, or Studio One,. and buying a midi controller. The Akai of old is long gone..
