step editing?

I was wonderin how to take 2 snares and move 1 snare slighly behind the other one to create a flam?
i read the manual and i dont really get how to move events if anyone could help that would be cool. thanks in advance!

highlight the sample you want to copy/move


hold the C&P button. the options are cut copy and paste I believe


copy, then move the sequence to whatver time you feel the snare should go and paste

i hate that function. when you copy a note and you wanna move it let's
say 00.05 forward, you have to copy it and go back up to the
time display and search the time again, cause it will go back 00.00.00.
it's really, really frustrating. there's not much things i like to whine about
on the 1k, but this is one of those things that makes doing beats just
a little bit harder. and with most of the problems on 1k, this one can't
be done on the comp.

Use the left cursor key. One click with this key will take you to the "now" field without resetting to 00.00.00.

shyt, i wouldn't thought i'd find anything new on this machine, but that really
is something.

I think you will find it much more rewarding to do it manually with the timing off... It adds a much more natural groove.

word. If your gonna be putting in drums by numerical time code you might as well be using software.
