That converter is shyt, definitly return it and get your cash back, get something from that link I posted, you can get a 200W one heavy duty, and pay for overnight shipping for what they charged youi at RS.
Seriously, get a good one man, wait a few more days and get it straight.
The one I got runs 500W and I probably have less than 100 going into it.
The cycles shouldn't affect the 60 at all, they dnt derive their timing from the mains power, it would suck if it did!!

Mos def get one with a higher wattage. I use a 2000 watt transformer for my American gear over here and it handles it all. It just gives off an annoying buzzing hum. I put it on a piece of thick foam to deaden the hum noize.

Damn, that's a lot of juice!! But yeahm it should be fine. You could have gone 200W, but whatever, now you van buy out a UK studio and power it.

Nah dude, those things don't push voltage, they let machines pull it from them, so it's got it to give, so the 60 will only take what it needs.
I have a 500W one, it was the only one I could find when I needed it.
