Here is my feature wishlist:
- non-destructive MIDI editing
- Quantize midi notes with strenght (0-100%)
- copying, pasting & deleting segments of bars
- monitoring the analog inputs in main & seq page
- ability to apply FX to a selection of a sample (region/ trim)
- a real three band EQ with frequency adjustments per part
- a main stereo channel (with FX bus, gain & the three band eq mentioned earlier)
- more combinations of fx instead of only A+B & C+D
- 256 MIDI tracks instead of 128
- ability to merge a stereo audio file into one combined mono in 1 time
- a build in programmable arpeggiator & a chord builder
- a way to auto assign a sample wich has _A#2 in its name to program part A#2 (maybe add an option window when we load a serie of samples wich asks: "auto assign key nrs.?" ... Or something like that)
- SHIFT + undo = go back 2 steps, undo = undo previous step
- pitch shifting a track in main window
- recording L + R input to 2 different midi notes at the same time (so input L to midi note X and input R to midi note Y
- auditioning a program from HD
- a real TR step sequencer:
->There are 16 pads available. A bar has 16 steps. WHy not build a visual TR step sequencer like on a TR707 and make the 16 pads the 16 steps and the pad banks represent the different bars. So pad D will bring you to bar 4 etc.. You get the picture
- ability to trigger any drumprogram- sound with any other drumprogram-sound
- improved fx alghoritmes (alltho IF we get this, I think we should get this for free)
- ^ ability to use all the 20 outputs indeedy ^ ( or does this need a hardware touch? )
- solo/mute in the pad mixer
Some minor stuff:
- SHIFT + "next or prev track" = next or previous sequence
- default on startup = "merge" instead of "replace" in seq pg
- play/stop & overdub on QWERTY keyboard so we can control the mpc entirely from a distance.
- in main page, when the cursor is on "track" and we press "block cursor down", the cursor jumps to "simul play". This should jump to "out1:part"
