Test out drum patterns at different timings when you double the resolution.
I usually record at 1/16(3), 1/32 and 1/32(3) with no doubling.
If I double the res I might step down my timing until I get what I want.
When I get intricate with the hitting and can't get it right I'll go into step editing and push the sample around some ticks.[/quote]
