whoa...you sure got it twisted. I do contribute to this forum. I mean the whole MPC forums not just a tiny little corner of it. Haven't you heard...this isn't a little exclusive club just for dudes that need to band together just cause they use the same machines. I simply gave honest feedback in return to honest feedback that was given to me, and I simply defended myself. When cats who couldn't handle the honesty of the comment decided to pile up. The BS in this forum that I commented on was here before this started and will undoubtedy continue if I never come back here again. Like I said I didn't start this, and you obviously got this all twisted in your head and cannot compute. I will leave this forum alone and you will see this BS happening again cause it's nothing new, so stop trying to act like I'm the cause of this, I'm just bringing the bs to light. Not my fault this is the way it is. Not my fault you got extremely narrow vision on this either, and don't see the big picture.

BTW go look in this forum, and look at how much knowledge has been dropped in the last little while? Look how many threads are about calling someone out, and look for my name in there. You'll be hard pressed to see me contributing to that mess, and I have made very constructive posts in this forum when I did post. Not to mention most of my posts in general are constructive. Unless it's in off-topic, and there it has it's place.

Stop trying to put the responsibilty on me for this forum being the way it is Elmac...if you don't liek the direction go make posts on some 60 knowledge, no one else seems to be doing that here including yourself. Don't blame this one thread for the direction this forum has been going for months.

Lonely (J Dilla sounding beat - made with J Dilla kit)

Anyone who has talked to me on the subject of Dilla knows that I'm not a big fan of him. Some cat in the 1k forum posted a Dilla sounding drum kit. It's actually a dope kit. I made a beat using the kit today, and I liked how it came out even though I'm not really a fan of the Dilla steez.

Which to me sounds like you were unsure what direction to take your music in. You can't decide if you should quantize or not. You guys talk all this shit on me and I strictly quantize and step edit.

3. really it doesnt matter what equipment is used now a days, if its hot its hot. the equipment used really does define a person and gives personality though no doubt, and the older equipment A. sounds better B. is made better and C. is looked down upon becase it doesnt have the shiney blinking lights and 500 mb's of sample time. There is a reason most ILL producers in the game still use older equipment... get a grip. YES, just because you own an MPC 60 doesnt mean you are going to be DJ premier but i will tell you this, the cats using these machines (3000, 60, sp1200 etc..) are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ILLER than the cats using the 2000's and so forth.. thats a FACT.

I was nice about it and very humble....and i said fans of real hiphop flavor....not those who aren't into commercial bullshit.....blah blah...I was just trying to shout out to some heads that might have an interested in purchasing the LP on-line.

Yo and for the record we invested over 4 grand in this project out of our own pockets on our own production label (LLC is pending) and on my valuable time....I got food bills, rent due, car payments, insurance, etc. just like everybody else. I had to take off of work numerous times while attending college to work on this damn album and I designed the cover illustration, the logo, the artwork from front to back inside and out and took my own photos.....and NEED NOT invested mad time and money into it as well. So please just get off this subject of me being an unappreciative beat biting prick....if that's what you wanna call me and my style....so be it....
