Sorry to hear about that. That's hardcore though, that your first thought as it happened was about making beats!

SukhDee, when/how did this happen? you have my sincere respect, but not sympathy--nobody wants that sh!t, and obviously you are doing real well without it. rock on..[/quote]

Yea nobody wants sympathy. I had meningitis when I was 12. I was in a comma for 6 days. I'm happy to be here and have a functional brain. I started rapping about 3 years ago. And started makin beats last year. I still have a lot to learn. Music saved my life. I'm happy to hear your not letting this obsticle get in the way of your goals.

Rock on brother.

I don't lay my programs out for a specific finger...that's maybe something I could try. I have a program of precaution, "A" has all my snares, "B" has kicks, "C" has hi hats, etc. I record each sound as a separate track. That way, when I need kick or a snare I pick what sounds best from the 16 I have available. That's why the MPC has overdub right?

Sorry bout your finger...I lost an inch of mine in a metal grinder. It grew back, kind of...

tewa check out some ofmy drum pgms from my sample web page. you'll see how i lay mine out. it is nice if you want to play drums live.

as for the post before yours, i advise to lay off the rock. i havent watched television in three years and never plan to again.

Thanks Antonym, I'ma peep your programs when I get home from work. I figured that you used it for playing live...I've never done that before, but I think it's dope.
