I thougt everyone should drop som tips on sampling drums.
I can start..
What u do is.
U sample your drums into yout computer(from vinyl of corse :-p)
the u cut out the drum, with a little space from the start and end
open your wav editor, normalice the drum, maybe ad some eq
them set up so your mp samples what comes out of the computer
then loop the sample, and open the sample windown in the mp, now u can mess with the rec gain button so u get the exact volume that u what(maybe turn it up for some crunsh)
another thing u can do is timestretch and pitchshift your drums, u can have 5 different drums from just 1 drum.. crazy...
or u just sample into the mp, but i belive that the soundcards samples better, but stil u sample it in in the mp, so u still get that "mpc sound on the drum"
