Didn't EMU do that with the pk6, mk6 and xk6 etc..??
you can get some facts and fanboy rants at places like:
motifator.com
fantomized.info
tritonhaven.com
i have experience with korg, yamaha, and roland keyboards.
from the korg M1, yamaha sy77, and the roland JX-8P to their newest workstations. let me know what kind of info you're looking for.
i think the triton has a simple layout. but i found the sampling features to be a bit akward. i haven't done any sampling on the motif or fantom though.
as far as sounds go the motif takes the cake but the fantom is a real close second because they have some really great sounds. the triton sounds are cool but try listening to them dry with no effects,it's a different story. but the triton is probably the easiest workstation to use for tweaking your sounds.[/quote]
Which Motif's have you used? Do you still have access to one? I read alot about Motif's having excellent realistic sounds, and arpeggiators, but I haven't found too much about the sampling capabilities.
Specs don't tell me if the sequencing or sampling, or saving and re-loading is "awkward" or exactly how it performs. I found reviews and such. Why is this such a problem? I think dudes having a problem with someone asking a question is mighty suspect. That's the only thing that's suspect here to me.
What is your dude's problems for real? If you don't like the question don't come in the thread. There's people willing to answer me. Not just bombard the thread with even more useless info. about searches. If this forum was about non-interaction I think Tutor should just close it down and leave the forums as an archive so no one can ask questions anymore.
