actually the performance of hte ram doesnt matter shit for the MPC as long as its upto specs.
i bought me some generic crap, moved my MPC to and from school almost every day at one stage. survived perfectly, still works.
its not like on a pc where you can benefit from better brands of RAM, cos on a PC the ram has much more demand, but on an MPC its limited by the speed of the CF card and obviously even when you're pushing it hard, it cannot match upto 2 gb of ram clearing itself of textures to the video card of a computer.
you'd have to be REALLY unlucky to get ram that works and then suddenly go's bust.
