Something else, i just heard that Roger Linn was still being paid by Akai for the MPC concept but since Numark has taken over they stopped his royalty payments and all communication.
Shame on Numark, i bet some of those f-cks don't even know who he is.

as far as the red card slot, that is included as the face panels. if you ever take off the front panel, the red card slot comes off too.

as far as the cursor buttons, i've never taken off the casing to my 1k but the cursor buttons may be attached to the case so if we get the black kit, maybe the buttons will come with it. i don't know.

Did it in about 2 hours yesterday, and finished it with the LINN1000 this morning. I do a lot with Photoshop for my work, so.

Man, I can't wait to get this kit... especially after receiving a B-Stock replacement unit that cosmetically don't look as good as my original. BBB aint sh!t btw, but fvck it... the replacement works fine otherwise (for the time being).
