I could go score a hard drive very cheaply, but how do we hook them up??

but all the same, its a bit off to list three hard drives but not the methodology of connecting them up.

they could do better, and i think they will.

if not, i'm making the best music i have ever made in my life with it. so anything they do to beef it up will just be icing on the cake. and if/when there comes a time when the mpc1000 is no longer enough for me and i can't supplement it with other, cheaper gadgets like the sp404/reason, etc - then i may purchase something of more "worth"

it's all perspective. i'm having one hell of a good time.

well the guy at the store said it was the same as the 2000xl but smaller, i should kick his ass...

That sucks he would tell u some issh like that. I would of done some homework first before dropping a g, or whatever you spent on it. Its still a great machine. I love mine very much, and whatever comes out is only extra. So with hds coming. i will definitely be coping on of those for sure. And if the update comes with anything special, then thats just icing on the cake.

yeah i know, the hd was the thing that made me not die of anger.. but yeah, i should have done my homework but then i didnt know about the card reader for the XL and such.... but i allways make the same mistake of buying to fast!
