At this time there is no hard drive kit available and we havn't done
any testing to see what works or what parts are required. I don't know
if
Akai is planning anything for that. The black case should be available
once
the black MPC's are available, but it could be 1-3 months. Feel free

check back anytime.

this is BS. my source already has a HD in his 1k. mounting kit and all. Believe VST if you want to. i have my money on my source.

i mean i find it funny how users on forums know about new products-upgrades ect ect thru sideways channels and then when akai people or service centers are asked they flat out deny it only to look stupid when things come out 1-2 months later....sometimes weeks or days later...all this secret agent stuff is so silly. i MEAN seriously if you have a dedicated folowing be honest with them and they will respect you more...You see this happen all the time with korg....their man on the forums..jerry kovorsky i think denies stuff left and right when users know 100% something is coming(like when triton was 1st released after trinity)...i lost so much respect for that guy when i played korgs..hec they all do it...except access virus people...they will spend lots o time on the phone with you talking about whats ahead....of course they are european...lol
