If you HEX edit (VIEW) then you will find some very interesting stuff, however you would need to understand the hardware side of the mpc to better understand how to hack it. which......NO ONE KNOWS

Nah, this is the 1000 OS. But why the hell can't i open the Akai US zip and can open the Japanese....?
The Japanese is also a couple of KB smaller

i worked for me a couple of months ago.. havent tried now... what zip app are u using? i use winRar wich is great.

but can u get the 2500 os anywhere at this time?
