Ok . I re-painted my mpc 1000
I did not like the labeling job I did on the last try or the try before that.
I do not have a label maker or anything to do it for me, so I did the same thing I did last time - but I took my time and I used red paint instead of white for the labeling job
here you can check out my last attempt and my latest
check it out.

let me know what you think.
also someone on the last post I had asked someone to explain what they did when they painted thier MPC.
so...
- I unplugged the MPC
- I unscrewed the back plate screws - the screws that hold on the front plate and side panels
- Once you get the back plate off the side panels come off by pulling them forward then outward
- you then will be able to pull off the front panel where the memory card goes
- there will be a couple more screws under this panel that attach the main face panel ( unscrew them )
- you then will be able to pull off the main face panel ( remove slider buttons first )
- once you have all of the seperate parts - lay some newspaper down and get prepared to paint
- you can pop the screen cover off that is attached to the main face panel aswell
- when you paint it - whatever the color may be - fallow the instructions on the paint can and dont over paint it or it will run or glob up - I suggest just putting on a light coat - then when that dries - apply another
- thats it - i dont know how your going to do the labeling but I painted mine obviously
