the most useful thing i've found is if you have a kick drum sample set it to a high pass filter around 10 or 11 with the resonance set kinda high (around 81 or higher) and the filter link should be on. this will make your kick have more of a thumpy low end behind it.
another thing to try is, say for example, you have a program called drumkit1 and you record a beat on track1.
copy the program drumkit1 and paste it as a new program called drumkit2.
copy track1 and paste it into track 2.
change track2's program to drumkit2.
now go to the program screen and set the filter on the sounds in drumkit2 to have a low pass filter on them.
this can give you a fuller low end rumble below your drums.
you can try this method with anything besides drums and altering different attributes (filters, effects, etc.....) but keep in mind that when two tracks of the same samples are played at the same time on the 1000 random phasing issues occur. when one set of the sounds is using a low pass filter its not as noticeable, but when you try high pass filters or no filters at all you will find your tracks have some random phasing.
sometimes the phasing is kinda cool cause its random (yet often when it happens) so i'll sometimes intentionally set it up to have phasing issues . but for more straight ahead stuff it might not be your thing.
oh and since you are essentially doubling the tracks the levels are going to get louder as well, so you'll want to recheck your volumes if you try this method as well.
