Your zoning and timestreching, I weclome these new additions, but these will not make any of us better producers, they are just more tools in the bag, but if you can't turn a screwdriver to begin with, how do you expect to build the house?....

i think the next wave of complaints (besides colour) will be no realtime filter modulation.

i fixed the non tilting screen with some heavy duty rubber feet, which i stuck at the back tilting the whole thing a few more degrees up. dirt cheap and available from any good hardware/electical store!!
make sure you get good quality with ggod adhesive, you may want to check the whole thing is stable before you stick them on.

messure twice, cut once

dude if your not satisifed with the topics on this forums, why dont you take initiative and create something other than complaints or customized mpc topics, instead of compalining

course features like this doesn't make anyone better, but its a time saver for most/ its less hastle, and mor etime being productive. i cant complain about it. new features are dope

and as far as customizing goes, for most people, the warranty expired, so why not experiment, its just for fun. why not change shiit up a bit?

oh yeah., ^^ i use a good ol VHS tape and prop it up under neather the 4 outs, works great!!

I have been on this forum for a while, I look in the 4k and 2k fourms and they actually post real informative information. Cats like blue haze and a few others give all types of tips of getting inside the 4k. We have people here doing it and I try to help when I get the chance, but all and all I see more complaints than anything else. I use to be one of them, but one day I decided to get down to business and I don't have anywhere near the problems as I use to have.

funny thread indeed
even more funny is that i never cared about timestretch or zoning. i cared only about track velocity, but now i am used of doing it manually anyway...

unfortunately i guess i'll complain about the small timing issues if they are not fixed.

for instance when I insert an "effect change" in a track, the sequencer lag a tiny bit.
and when a lot of tracks are playing at the same time (audio + midi), tiny lags can happen also.

it is probably the mpc god punishing me for doing heavy techno though. ;)

the fact that theirs no "kanye,9thwonder,peterock"emulator.

too many hilarious things to quote in one thread!!!! but i think this or soyo's 1k microwave takes the cake...so true...i want a 1 minute burritto while making beats...

filter sweeps will be the next area of complaint. luckily, the workaround for that is already 2nd nature for me so you won't hear me bitching, just explaining how to get around it.

i couldn't be happier with this thing now though, as i've been saying. at this point hopefully we can stop whining and do as bhunt has discussed - talk about tips, tricks, and the like.

i think the 1k forum users who no longer have to ask querstions should post up tuturials on doing what they feel they do best.

i think i'm going to transcribe a 4 bar drum loop )ie type all that gibberish out( and put up a wave just to help some new people get away from boom bap electronic drums and machine gun, note repeat hi hats...
