yeha, having a midi interface is a trade off, alittle loss in accuracy, but i can use my mpc as a controller in some applications.
knowing that theres no other way to do it like midi, but with midi, is enough incentive to finally by a midi supported soundcard.
thanks everyone for all the opinions. and excuse my bad wording, i should have had my initial post laid out more clear.
thanks lampdog, your method is worthy, as thats how i do it now. i just hope you understand, im looking for something that cant make human error. and i make stupid mistakes sometimes.
ive had tracks open, cut the wrong peiece, in the wrong places, got distracted, came back, saved and exited, then the next day ot whatever, i noticed on play back, that i made a mistake, and am forceed to transfer back to my mpc and re-track out. (only have the 32mb still)
i usually do more than one at a time, usually on sundays, then throughout the week, i'll mix them down, then add vocals or whatever.
running into problems like that are a big letdown. i usually get all physed up to record. then realize i made an error on my part.
im just trying to minimize human error. thats all
