mpc tutor, you have a wonderful post comparing the 1000 vs 2kxl vs 4k. A similar post on the 2500 would do wonders for people deciding on which mpc to fork over there hard earned dough.
A lot of people list specs, but specs don't really make up a machine. An instrument is greater than the sum of its parts. Your post made me realize that the 1k was perfect for me except that it has no compatibility with the 2kxl. the 2500 seems to improve on this.
as the akai mpc offering diversifies, I feel like a kid in a candy shop (not that lame place 50 raps about)
