don't you find it funny that this video shows almost exactly the same things as sparq has been posting on this board for a week now?

oh wait... doesn't this thing cost about $2999? without the CD recorder and HD kit?

its true the machine is nice, but damn i'm not willing to pay $2000 more for a chop shop and grid edit

there are other features that warrant the higher price tag.

Its not the same people that buy the 2500 that buy the 1k

I've tried one in the shop and the general "feel" of all the buttons and hardware are better than the 1000 to me. It feels like it is built better. Also with the extra buttons and layout it has a quicker workflow. Real-time filters are handy as well. I like my 1000 but I think the 2500 definitely feels better overall.

lets not forget the 8 out

that is really useful in my opinion

when you mix down to a desk, 8 is really nice...

build quality is also important

HOwever I think its definitely comical how many people clowned the layout and whatnot of the 1k, then the next improved 2.5k seems to be built from the same mold, not from the style of older MPC's.

10 outs if you include the L/R main outs

someday i'll own a 2500 for in studio use. meanwhile, my 1000 is literally everything i need and want - and portable.

this is true. it reminds me more of a 1000 than a 2000, it is a pimped out clone.
