The Direct Recording function as of OS 1.00 is for sampling from the MPCs main menu while the sequence is playing. This feature is ok if you need it.

I am more impressed with the Direct Recording function combined with the Continuous Sample Track feature. This is the closest thing the 2500 has to recording actual audio tracks.

I would love if this feature was expanded to more than just one Continous Sample Track. Also, the filter/FXs are not done in realtime when applied to the Continuous Sample track. This should be improved.

J, how can you stop someone from making a thread/post that has everything to do with the 2.5k (making his question totally relevant for this section) and at the same time (in the same post) makes a comment about another mpc. then someone comes behind him and responds to the comment made about another mpc. at which point, true that person replying to the first person is talking about another mpc but if he/she puts that reply in the respective section, the first person who initially made the comment will not see it.

but i feel what you are saying though. and to me (IMO) that will only have merrit is if the first person making the comment does not say anything relevant to the topic/section of the mpc that she/he is in.

Don't mind me. I am just poking fun

I am not trying to stop anyone from posting what's on their minds. But I can't wait till the day when actual MPC 2500 owners out number non-2500 users in this part of the forum :D Still trying to convert many of you :P
