not worth 2000 dollers ,,,,, with 2000 you can buy a mac mini, apple 20 screen, logic , a midi controller and have a studio,,,, this is y i think hardware will go down ecause they overprice things ,, and am a hardware fan ,, but it is true 2000 for a drum machine ,,,,,, now an days not worth it

Who owned an MPC2500 that early and gave up on it so early? zzounds didn't even have them until very recently.

The Roger Linn rumor is the biggest bull-shyt of all time! How many more years will that one go on? Must Roger pass on like Bob Moog just to prove the rumor is total c-r-a-p?

Roger Linn is creating a $1500 drum machine with M-Auido?? Damn..I will buy that as well! I hope its comes out right after Christmas because the wifey said no new music gear until after Christmas.

The MPC 2500 is in the same price range as the FantomX6...but a few here have been getting them for much less. The Fantom is a decent keyboard workstation.

As far as the Apple monitors...they look kind of pretty. But after a visited Consumer Reports and done a complete break down on Apple monitors, I went with a Samsung Sync Master.

PS a real review for wildstyle???? information is a list of pros and cons regarding features specs and practical use in comparison to similar units.... you have provided no information ? oh i forgot you dont like the screen? hmm so what ... arent you lookin at your big 20" and enjoying pretty pictures of the real thing ?
