Anyone know if its possible to adjust the release envelope on a one-shot sample?
I know you can set the attack and decay envelope but is there a release setting that I'm not able to find?

what about like pressure sensitive on the pads? Would that do it?

Alas, I was hoping to get a subbass sample (with a sustaining loop) to trail off after releasing the pad instead of clipping off.

I guess that's where hooking up a sound module comes in... you can do so much with the damn 1K that I keep forgetting that its intended to be a drum sampler/sequencer.

Thanks.

you can do it. Just set the decaymd to start. amd then move the decay over.

I don't have my 1K next to me but if i remember correctly that only works with 'one shot' triggering (not 'note on') so you can't play a sustained note then have it trail off when your finger leaves the pad.

But I'll give it a shot when I get home, thanks.

i reckon it depends where the loop is in the sample. if you set it right at the end and fairly short, then it might make sense that you get no release.

also make sure that your bass sample ends on a zero-crossing. (but you know that already ;) )
